Yesterday was Bid Day, and it was SO fun! After two long weekends of recruitment, it was so rewarding to meet our newest little Delta Zeta turtles, the eighteens as we call them (since they will graduate in 2018.)

Our theme was "Welcome to ParaDiZe" so we all wore leis and flower headbands (so cute and fun!) Our house was decorated in Hawaiian flower garland, streamers, lanterns, balloons, everything that was bright and fitting with our paradise theme. We had a photo booth set up with cute props to take fun pictures with!

We spent a lot of the day getting the house ready, decorating posters for our eighteens, being super excited to meet them, and somewhere in there we managed to go to class (even though it was so hard to focus!)
Finallllllly, our little turtles came running home to Delta Zeta, as we were screaming and jumping up and down with excitement! We each had a girl to welcome, she is called our heart sister (these change every week up until big little reveal.) We made each girl a poster to greet her, and then we headed inside to get the girls their bid day shirts! After they changed, we took pictures, had a cookout, and got to know the girls a little bit :)

It definitely has been a fun couple of days, and I am so excited to get to know each of my new Delta Zeta sisters!
