Spring is here and summer will be arriving soon - so we better prepare by getting our favorite sandals out and ready to go! Embellished sandals are a huge trend this season, and well...you an never go wrong with a pair of Jack Rogers or Tory Burch sandals!

Lilly for Target

I don't know about y'all, but I'm super excited for Lilly Pulitzer's new line for Target! Today Target put out the Lilly look book and wow I probably looked at it over 5 times already! They will have a clothing in women's, plus, girls, and even toddlers, not to mention they have a beauty items and home goods! Take a look at some of my favorites!

Pretty & Pink

You may (or may not) know that my favorite color is pink! Okay, well maybe I am a little obsessed with the color! Today I thought I'd share a few of my favorite beauty products that happen to be PINK! 

perfume | lip gloss | lotion | blush | nail polish

1. Ralph Lauren Perfume - This is my favorite scent to wear (and it happens to be in a pink bottle - how great!) It's a fruity and sweet scent and I'm not sure who wouldn't like it!

2. Victoria Secret Lip Gloss - I am known to have multiple tubes of this brand of lip gloss in my purse at all times in all different flavors (but my favorite is Candy Baby, which tastes/smells like cotton candy!) It leaves a perfect shimmer on my lips! 

3. Victoria Secret Lotion - I love to get new scents for each season, and now that it is spring - it's time for a change! Victoria Secret's Sheer Love scent is a fresh and cheerful scent that is bound to make spring sparkle!

4. Nars Blush - This color is called Angelika Cotton Candy and I use this blush every day! I especially love the color obviously, but also that it has little specks of sparkles in it - how fun!

5. Essie Nail Polish - This color is perfect for a pedicure and will be sure to pop whenever you slip on your flip flops! It's called Secret Stash and I love it!

Movie Love

Within the past four days, I have realized that I've watched THREE different movies - and I am the kind of person who rarely watches television or movies or anything.  The first day was cold and blustery and I stayed in my bed at watched Breakfast at Tiffany's (such a classic!) and a movie called Copenhagen which I found under the Romance section on Netflix (my favorite!)  I could watch Breakfast at Tiffany's many times before I would ever get tired of it - so entertaining, fun, and sweet.

Copenhagen was set in Denmark and while it was a love story, the couple traveled around to multiple different places to take pictures in front of places in which the guy's father had taken pictures with when he was a little kid.  It was like my own tour of beautiful places in Denmark - oh how I wish I could just travel travel travel!

The other movie I watched was on a rainy day (but thankfully it wasn't snowing or anything!) and it was called One Day starring Anne Hathaway (such a great actress!)  It was also a romance (of course) and it was between Anne Hathaway (Emma) and a guy.  They would get together on the same date each year to catch up and hang out.  Their lives drifted apart for a while, but they inevitably fall in love...I'll let you watch it if you want to know more about the ending!

What I'm Loving Wednesday

Happy Wednesday y'all! It's my favorite day of the week - and I thought I would share a few things that I'm enjoying and thankful for lately!

READING

I've recently been LOVING to read! Lately I have read Love Does and A Confident Heart, and now I am reading Not a Fan.  These books are great - intriguing, informative, and they all point toward Christ.

 VINEYARD VINES SHEP SHIRT

I ordered this and it just arrived in the mail this week - wow so in love! It is so soft (and not to mention pretty...Pink and seersucker, does it get any better?)  Definitely a splurge, but worth it! Get it here!

LAUREN JAMES BOW HAT

Seriously this is my new favorite accessory on a bad hair day! I might need to order it in a couple other colors - but right now, I am content with just pink.

LIPPY BUTTER LONDON

One of my best friends got me this lipgloss - and it's GREAT! Mine is this color, and it is a sheer red gloss that doesn't feel sticky like some glosses do. You can get your's here!

One thing that I'm not necessarily loving is the COLD weather, but I am trying to enjoy the last of this winter season God has given us, and hoping that won't last much longer!

Spring Break Essentials

Just a couple days ago we got 8" of snow here in Southern Illinois, but despite the weather, spring break is quickly approaching! Even though University of Illinois doesn't celebrate spring until the last week of March, some of my friends have spring break this week or next week, and a lot of them are headed somewhere warm! While I am jealous, I'm also excited to spend a week at home relaxing and catching up on sleep and my Netflix favorites... But, for the lucky ones going to paradise, I put together some spring break essentials!

The shorts and a tee are a perfect cover up for a swim suit, and the Lilly dress is perfect for an evening out to supper!  Jack Rogers can be worn with any outfit, so you could get by with taking only one pair of shoes (but knowing me, I would be sure to take at least 3 pairs of shoes)! You of course want to be sure to pack a sunscreen, a hat, sunglasses, a water bottle, and a bag to carry everything to the beach!
