Procida Perfection

A pastel colored paradise, Procida is high on my list of favorite places I've visited in Italy.  Near the ever-so-famous Amalfi Coast, easily accessible from Napoli, but overlooked and tranquil, this was the perfect place for my mom and I to begin a week together in the Italian summer sun!

My favorite things about this little island, besides the obvious fact that it is colorful, is it's authenticity.  It's not a place that is full of international tourism, in fact I couldn't even manage to find a postcard of Procida.  But the people here are genuine and so kind, greeting us or offering to help carry our luggage (haha, of course we overpacked).

We loved walking around, going to the beach, and staying in our PINK AirBnB (pictured below in the middle) on the beautiful Corricalla Bay where we felt like we were living like a local and  where we had the perfect view of fishing boats every morning. We enjoyed going to the top of the Terra Murata for a beautiful view of the island and also venturing to a beach where we spent an entire day relaxing!

I hope to return to this precious place again, and I hope not much as changed when I have the chance to do so.

Xo,
