Conclusions of Copenhagen

Forecast for the day: cold and rainy. But thankfully it wasn’t raining for the first hour of my day in Copenhagen. I headed straight to considerably the most photographed area of Copenhagen: Nyhaven’s colorful buildings.

Even though it was a dreary day, the colors were bright and cheery! My favorites were the pastel pink (of course), light blue, and yellow buildings. I do have to say, my outfit coordinated quite well! (Not pictured: my hideous but warm black coat that I shed before these photos were taken and immediately put back on after.)

I then met up with a girl I knew studying abroad in Copenhagen, and we ate delicious cinnamon rolls and walked to see the Rosenborg Castle.

I decided to wander around some of the streets and admire the architecture and rich colors of Copenhagen, go to the top of Rundetaarn for a view of the city from above, and then walk down some of the shopping streets (only after telling myself I would not buy anything)(and I’m proud to say that I didn’t).

I definitely enjoyed Copenhagen, and think it would be nice to visit to visit again in a warmer month (or on a sunny day!)

Xo,
