Eiffel in Love

Paris had always been a wish, a dream, and a goal! When I was younger, Paris was always the place I wanted to travel to. I was obsessed with the idea and in love with a city I’d never been to.

The first time I went to Paris I cried when I saw the Eiffel Tower because I was so excited that my dream had came true. Even though we were only in Paris for a short time, I have such fun memories of Paris (shout out to Emma, Katelyn, and Caitlin).

From the time we left, I couldn't wait to come back again! And even though I didn’t cry this time, I still can’t explain the feeling of excitement I feel every time I saw the Eiffel Tower, no matter if it's up close or from a far.

Thankful our hotel was really close by, so we got to enjoy the Eiffel Tower views often.

My favorite was seeing it SPARKLE at night! Literally. At the top of every hour for 5 minutes, little lights turn on and off sporadically and it looks like it is covered in glittering rhinestones! Thankfully after watching it the first time, my dad was willing to go back with me to see it sparkle again!

The second day, my family had an early flight back to the USA and I didn't have to get my train back to Italy until the afternoon.  We walked to the Eiffel Tower in the morning before the sun came up, and watched the sky wake up.

After they left and I got ready, I set out for my second day in Paris! The sky was sunny and blue for a short while (thank you, God!) and the cherry blossom trees had began to bloom.  SO beautiful! I loved just walking around and taking pictures.

Au revoir, Paris. Until we meet again! Xoxo,
