The only good thing we found in Naples was PIZZA!
Our train back from Pompeii to Rome stopped in Naples, so we opted to change our ticket for a later time so we could eat pizza in the city in which it originated.
However, wow wow wow we were not impressed with Naples in the least. The streets were full of trash, it seemed so scummy, it smelled nasty, and I don’t even know how to explain it other than that it was gross... Like really gross.
So gross that we almost didn’t even want to eat while here. But we found a decent pizzeria and ate anyways, and it was SO yummy! We found this to be the only good part about the city, but I am sure there are hidden gems in Naples somewhere - maybe in a different area?
